We are Anne-Louise (55) and Reidar (56), a shop owner, and an officer (soon to be retired) in the Norwegian Army. We have 3 children, 2 of them grown ups, and a 16 year old girl. We have a small 3 kilo Pomeranian dog that does not travel with us. We have done more than 20 exchanges since 2008, and like places where we can be active; biking, cayaking, beach strolling, hiking, swimming. We love warm climate with a sunny weather, and can travel any time of year. We are open for simultaneous and non-simultaneous exchanges. Surprise us!

Our Home For Exchange
Description of the home we are offering for exchange
A fully renovated, modernized home with all new appliances and furniture in 2023. We are looking for non-simultaneously exchange for USA; Florida, California, or other places in the US..surprise us. For US in 2024/25 we are looking for exchange (or rental) in Florida for February (week 8) and during Easter. Non-simultaneously. You can use our home during summer 2024 or 2025. We are also looking for exchange with Europe, weeks 39-40 (September-October 2024/25) and May/June. We cannot travel abroad during July (because of tourist related work), but since our exchange home is a second home, you can use our home in July non-simultaneously.
We are looking for exchanges to Norway/Sweden destinations weekends any time. Simultaneoulsy or non-simultaneously. During summer we are open to non-simultaneously swaps with any warm European country. You can use our wonderful summerhouse June-October 2024/25. We are 2 adults with 2 decent teenagers (21,16). Our oldest son (25) will not travel with us. Our 21 year old will probably not travel with us either.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
Very quiet and open with a 180 degree view to the sea. You park 10 metre from the front door. You can go for a swim, go canoing, go to a harbour restaurant and do scenic walks along different paths and roads. You are 20 minutes drive from 3 towns; Fredrikstad, Sarpsborg and Halden. Approx 20 minutes from the Swedish border. 1,5 hours from Oslo (the capital). There are a lot of heritage sites to see, and a visit to beautiful Hvaler archipelago is highly recommended.
