Our Home For Exchange
Description of the home we are offering for exchange
We have a nice, 3 bedroom rowhouse outside Bergen (betw. airport and city centre). 15 min drive to city centre, which is situated by the sea and offers shopping, culture and easy access to surrounding mountains and the fjords. Close to Edvard Grieg's home. Family friendly neighbourhood, close to bus stop. Small garden. Supermarkets nearby, a large shopping mall a few minutes drive. We can offer one of our cars as part of the exchange.
Two holiday homes (apt in mountain village in Geilo, small cottage on island, both four hour drive from Bergen) can also be included in exchange.
Our two youngest daughters (20 and 23) might be travelling with us. We also have a daughter living in NY, who might occasionally join us.
FOR JULY 13-20 2019: We are looking for an exchange in or near a city, with easy access to beaches.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
Quiet, panoramic view. Small garden, playground. 15 min drive to the city of Bergen. Supermarkets 10 min walk or 2 min drive from the house. Large shopping mall 10 min drive. The small village Nesttun is 4 min drive.
From Bergen you can visit the fjords for a day trip ("Norway in a nutshell"). Bergen is surrounded by 7 mountains. Two of them are accessible by funicular or cable car, both with restaurants on the top, and several hiking trails. Edvard Griegs home is 5 min drive away. Bergen has lots of events and concerts, shops and museums.
