We are a non smoking, house proud, semi retired NZ couple, honest & reliable about to embark on new adventures.
Steve is a builder by trade and I have worked as a Senior Accounting clerk in an Accountants office for the past 10 years.
We both play lawn bowls, enjoy walking, & entertaining, getting involved in local clubs and volunteer work & have just begun going on short trips in our caravan now that work does not take up all of our time. We have thought about joining HomeLink for quite some time but with everything the timing was never right but now it is. So looking forward to sharing some of your local experiences and us to share ours.
We are open to non-simultaneous exchanges as we can go away in our caravan.

“The Base” - in the middle of everywhere!! Looking for a holiday that covers it all with white sand & surf beach, a bit of exploring on cycle/walking trails, a round of Golf , game of Lawn Bowls or just relaxing not too far from cafes shops & wineries? then The Base is the place to be.
Easily accessible day trips to major cities, towns, beaches & attractions all within 1 1/2 hrs drive so you only need to unpack once.
This is a sun drenched totally renovated 115 sq mtr house with open planned living area,3 bedrooms, 2 toilets, 1 bathroom, 99% fenced .
There are 2 deck areas both are covered by a pergola for a bit of sun protection and all weather alfresco dining along with a Café clear curtain to protect from wind. Awesome rural views. Bedrooms are sunny and excellent sizes.
50 mtr to start of Hauraki rail trail & Goldfields railway
15 min walk to town, 10min drive to Waihi Beach.

Waihi is a small mining town, with no public transport, but in the middle of everywhere for awesome day trips.

Waihi is in the middle of everywhere so excellent place to unpack once and do day trips to Coromandal, Tauranga, Mt Maunganui, Hamilton, Hobbiton, Rotorua, Taupo all under 2 hours away.
Plus on the doorstep in the start of the Hauraki Rail Trial which is well known for Biking, Walking
10 mins away is awesome Waihi surf Beach or Anzac bay for calmer waters great swiming. Whanagmata only 1/2 hours drive away great surf beach and estaury.
Close to Waihi Golf course, wineries, restaurants.
