Modern comfortable home with en-suite and internal double garage. Our home has two heat pump/aircon units so you can maintain a comfortable indoor environment. We have free to air TV and Netflix for entertainment plus a broad collection of fiction and non-fiction books. 10 mins. walk to large shopping mall with restaurant, food hall and movie theatres. 10 mins drive to city centre. Centrally situated in upper North Island. Auckland, Rotorua, Tauranga, Coromandel Peninsula within 1hr 30., all with numerous and historic tourist attractions.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
We live in a quiet tree-lined mature neighbourhood of quality homes. Our part of the street is a cul-de-sac with friendly neighbours and the entrance to a park just across the road. A stop for the city bus service is a 5 minute walk down the road. The access to the main roads out of Hamilton is very easy from our house and the GPS in our car makes it even easier.

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
We are a 10 mins. walk to large shopping mall with restaurant, food hall and movie theatres. 10 mins drive to city centre. Centrally situated in upper North Island. Auckland, Rotorua, Tauranga, Coromandel Peninsula within 1hr 30., all with numerous and historic tourist attractions. A little further to beautiful Lake Taupo. Visit Hamilton Gardens, one of the top-rated tourist attractions in NZ. Pirongia Forest Park is a 25min. drive from Hamilton and has numerous tracks and nature walks. For the more fit the walk to the summit takes 4 to 6 hrs. To see rare and endangered native flora and fauna visit Maungatauturi Ecological Island, 3,400 hectares protected by 47 km of pest proof fence. We have done 9 previous exchanges to Watford, Broadway, Farnham, Chingford and Banbury in the UK and also to Germany, Mexico, California and Brittany. We are open to considering offers from most places and are able to do non-simultaneous which means we can be pretty flexible in arranging exchanges. For a USA exchange we would like to go to somewhere in the eastern states.
