We are Kerry & Judy; young at heart, retired Husband and wife, non smokers with adult children and grandchildren.
We’d like to think we could be described as being friendly, caring and easy going.
We have just rejoined HomeLink having, previously experienced approx 12 wonderful exchanges in the past in UK, France, Tenerife, Australia & New Zealand.
We’ve done a lot of travelling and exploring and we do enjoy meeting like-minded people. We are both foodies, enjoy good wine, good company and good books and could be described as friendly and outgoing.
We also enjoy walking and exploring villages, beaches and also the cultural and architectural side of cities.
Our leisure time is spent cycling, paddle boarding, fishing, family time, spending time with the grandchildren and exploring in our Motorhome.
Judith loves reading and knitting and Kerry is often in the garden and doing handyman jobs around our home.
We try to follow the Sun, just can't do Winters anymore.
We travel as a party of 2 and prefer to swap like for like.

Our Home For Exchange
Description of the home we are offering for exchange
We have a lovely, sunny modern house in a beautiful Palm Garden setting and in a very easy 2 min walk you’ll have your toes in the sand or sea of Waiake Beach.
The safe, sandy beach is literally 8 houses away.
Our house is very comfortable and fully set up as a home with all mod cons you’d expect, as we spend a considerable amount of time here visiting children and grandchildren from time to time.
There are two bedrooms; the main bedroom with King Size Bed and 2nd bedroom has two singles; all beds are brand new and most importantly; they are extremely comfortable.
Open plan living, dining and kitchen with veranda and BBQ off dining area making for very relaxed living and dining both indoor or outdoor.
The Living area has a large air conditioner for Summer months and heat pump for Winter.
We have one large, easy access bathroom.
Car parking at front door.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
Our house is right on the Coastal Walk Way, great for avid walkers and explorers.
Our neighbourhood is very leafy with mainly permanent residents and a relaxed coastal vibe.
Waiake is midway between Browns Bay and Torbay, both 1 km away, with Cafes, shops etc and Long Bay and it’s beautiful long sandy beach a further 1km.
Westfield Shopping Mall in Albany 10 min drive.

The many restaurants and Cafes, Shops and numerous beaches and coves that make up the East Coast Bays are all within easy reach; well we consider them an easy walk as a couple 70+.
Waiake beach is a lovely, easy access and safe beach for Sailing, Paddle Boarding or swimming.
Devonport, one of Auckland’s older suburbs has direct ferry access to Auckland and very sought after Waiheke Island, its Vineyards, eateries and beaches.
