Description of the home we are offering for exchange
WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN EXHANGE FOR THE SUMMER OF 2023 IN AUSTRALIA. We will visit relatives in Sydney and want to travel to Queensland as well. We live in a completely refurbished house, close to both nature and cultural sites. We live in a quiet area in a lovely park, around the corner of Slot Zeist (Zeist Castle), a 18 century castle with a nice park and green well kept surroundings. On your way home you will pass the buildings of The Broedergemeente (Community of Brothers), an impressive array of 18th century Classisist houses. Zeist is a town of 60.000 inhabitants, 10 km east of Utrecht, part of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug National Park region with a lot of walking and cycling possibilities. Utrecht is called the new Amsterdam by CNN Travel. Utrecht has all the big city amenities with a small town atmosphere and is much more relaxed than Amsterdam or Rotterdam (BBC Travel). In fact Zeist is an ideal stay for exploring cities as Utrecht (20 min. to the city center by bus), Amsterdam City Center (55 min. bus and train), The Hague and the seaside (60 min. bus and train.
