Our Home For Exchange

Description of the home we are offering for exchange

Our home is a 175 m2 family home located on Katendrecht. Katendrecht is a nice and popular neighborhood close to the Erasmus bridge and the river New Muse. The house is very comfortable and designed by jack himself and built by Rita's brother. It has many rooms, two bathrooms, a sunny garden and a roof terrace with great view. It has a great park directly across from the street.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area

Katendrecht is a very nice neighborhood, with Fenix Food Factory, SS Rotterdam and the Nice Deliplein with nice smalle coffee bars and restaurants. It is close to Wilhelminapier with Lantaren Venster (cinema), Nieuwe Luxor (theatre) and Hotel New York (bar / restaurant). On the other hand, Katendrecht is rather quiet and safe, since it is a peninsula with no through-going traffic. And the the beaches are only 30 km away!

You'll find many nice places at walking distance. SS Rotterdam is a renovated cruise ship located along the katendrecht quays. Hotel New York is the former location of the Holland America Line and now a vibrant bar and restaurant. You'll also find a theatre, cinema and the national photo museum at walking distance on Wilhelminapier.
