Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
The house is in a quiet street on the outskirts of a small village of 3.500 people on the west-bank of and very close to the river Maas. The flat area is ideal for walks and bicycle tours and is wooded. The towns Roermond and Venlo are very near ( 15 kms) and the towns Maastricht, Eindhoven and Düsseldorf (Germany) are on 60 kms distance. Amsterdam 175 kms. Liège (Belgium) 80 kms. The German and Belgian borders are on 25 kms distance.
