We are Vincent and Christel with our daughters Eline (2003) and Amélie (2005). We have done many satisfactory home exchanges with our previous home and - after having settled in our new home - we started swapping houses again. We both enjoy travelling, cooking (and eating). Vincent plays field hockey and he is a fond mountainbiker. Christel loves to go for walks and can’t live without her books. Vincent is a senior account manager for an international company in cloud solutions, Christel works for a Dutch book publishing company. Our eldest daughter is studying in Utrecht, where she lives. Our youngest still lives with us. We have 2 cats that need to be fed and cuddled.

Our Home For Exchange
Description of the home we are offering for exchange
******HAVE EXCHANGE FOR 2024*****
Our detached home (built in 2010) is situated in a friendly village right in the center of The Netherlands. Amsterdam is 40 minutes by train (station at 5 mins by bike) or by car and the lovely city of Utrecht is only 10 minutes by train. Our house has all the modern amenities, lots of space and a wonderful garden.
If you love cooking you will definitely love our kitchen with an XXL fridge XXL Freezer and a special fridge for wine as well.
We have a separate home office downstairs which we also use as an extra living room: It has a comfy couch, large TV + DVD and a WII.
Outside you can sit on the terrace comfortably. When it rains you can sit under the porch and prepare a pizza in the pizza oven. Smaller children will love our lawn and adults the outside alfresco dining space!
Our living room has a big couch for 6 people, a cosy fireplace and a large TV with DVD and Netflix, HBO and Prime.
On the 1st floor hallway you will find our Sole F63 treadmill for those who love to exercise..
A real bonus is the fact that we have 2 bathrooms so perfect for larger families. If you drive an electric car you can charge that as we have a charger at the side of our house.
A recent addition is Airco so you'll stay cool during hot summer days!

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
The house is located in a quiet street in the old part of Driebergen-Rijsenburg, right behind the historical church square. The main street of Driebergen offers all the necessary stores, as well as lovely boutiques and places to go for coffee or a drink. Our village has some great pubs and restaurants, and even a Michelin star awarded restaurant, La Provence!
For sports and recreation you are spoilt for choice: Driebergen has a golf course, a kart circuit a large indoor and outdoor pool and 160KM of mountain bike trails. Nature is on your doorstep.
