Our village is located next to one of the largest cities in the Netherlands, Utrecht. This town was in 2015 the guest city of The Tour de France. The City of Utrecht is known as 'Venice of the North' due to is meandering canals throughout the medieval city. It offers you the impressive Dom tower (115m) and the internationally famous museum of Miffy. Due to the fact that 35.000 international student live here, there is always something to do. Within 10 minutes you can reach the city center by bike. You can use ours (we have 4 of them) or take the bus, since the busstop is just 200 meters away.

Amsterdam can be reached by car within 30 minutes or you can go by train which departs from the train station from our town. The near surrounding of our home are very green. It offers a large wood where dogs may run freely and just 2 streets away, the main street of De Bilt is located with its 2 supermarkets, 3 backeries, 2 butchers, gas station, restaurant, pizza and sushi delivery stores, etc. etc.
