Description of the home we are offering for exchange

Unique exchange offer in Chapala Mexico. A colourful Mexican home with a fabulous view of the Lake Chapala. Conveniently located just 30 minutes driving south of Guadalajara Airport and walking distance of the picturesque town of Chapala with its excellent restaurants and market. The house is 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, a swimming pool, a large terrace, and an extensive secure fenced garden. The town of Ajijic is a 10-minute drive and is well-known as a retirement paradise noted for numerous, restaurants, quaint shops, crafts and art galleries.
It is an Ex-pat haven with outstanding weather all year, world-class entertainment in neighbouring Guadalajara with opera, symphony, ballet, mariachi performances, museums, grand cathedrals, and a bustling downtown area.
Tonola and Tlaquepaque, famous for unique crafts, furniture, pottery, and artisanal items, are within 40 minutes from our home. Accessible by auto, bus, or driver, a day trip you will never forget. Other sights are Copper Canyon, Oaxaca, Puerto Vallarta, Manzanillo, San Miguel de Allende, and Guanajuato.
We also have a house on the Ottawa River in Portage du Fort, Quebec, Canada, 1 hours drive west from the capital. We would also consider exchanges during the summer.

Just three blocks from the Monte Carlo spa with a restaurant, thermal pool and sports activities. It has a beautiful garden and live music on certain days.
It is a 15 minute walk to the Chapala plaza, lake side walk and restaurants. There is regular bus service to Guadalajara from Chapala a short bus ride to Ajijic with it's galleries, restaurants craft shops.
