Description of the home we are offering for exchange
PRIME location in one of the most prestigious and picturesque suburbs in Canada.
Our comfortable, fully furnished family home is on two levels with the rear of the house south-facing. Peek a boo views looking westwards towards the Pacific ocean and Vancouver Island in the distance. To the north enjoy mountain views and take in the clean, fresh air.
The top floor includes a full bathroom, kitchen, dining room / family room with TV, Lounge with TV. Netflix and fast internet included. Enjoy Outdoor dining on the large upper deck / balcony with gazebo, patio furniture and BBQ.
The lower level of the house is where we have three large sized bedrooms, one shower room and three lavatories.
Master Bedroom (15ft x 13ft) has a Queen size bed and opens out onto the lovely garden which is ideal for summer breakfasts and relaxing in the sun-drenched garden.
Bedroom two ( 21ft x 13ft) has a Super king size bed (76’ wide), romantic fireplace, wall mounted TV, ample storage and open to a patio and play area.
Bedroom three (11ft x 11ft) also has a QUEEN size bed.
The garden has a large trampoline and lots of children’s toys and activities.
Our home is located in the quiet and safe neighbourhood of DUNDARAVE Village in West Vancouver. A quick 4 minute walk will get you to to a variety of stores to satisfy most of your needs. Regular buses nearby can take you to downtown within 20 minutes. Dundarave beach and pier are the local highlights attracting many visitors. Please check Google Maps for further reference.
Families with young children can easily walk 3 minutes to our local Irwin Park or access the West Vancouver Recreation centre and the West Vancouver Memorial library a 10 minute walk. Dundarave is a the base of the mountains in a larger area know as the “North Shore” surrounded by the tall trees of a West Coast temperate forest. Cypress Mountain (2010 Winter Olympics) , Grouse Mountain and Seymour Mountains are a short drive away and World Class Whistler (2010 Winter Olympics) is only 1.5 hrs away so this is the perfect location for winter sports as well.
The opportunities to experience nature while enjoying Vancouver’s world famous sites and ethnic diversity and cuisine will keep you occupied and engaged during your stay.

Our home is on the North Shore which is a community tucked into the entrance of one of the worlds remaining wildernesses. Dundarave is one the most prestigious neighbourhoods in Canada. Peaceful, beautiful and yet a quick 20-minute bus ride to downtown. Close to beaches, mountains and everything else in between. 3 Ski resort mountains on the North Shore and World famous Whistler only 1.5hrs away.
