Our Home For Exchange
Description of the home we are offering for exchange
We have a lovely home located in the town of Newmarket, only a 30 minute drive (or 40 min. train ride) from Toronto. Our house is modern and was completely renovated in 2023 with a new kitchen, new windows and a new hot tub! We live within a few minute walk of the old main shopping area that includes many trendy restaurants, bars and shops and coffee shops. We are just 40 minutes away from one of the most dynamic cities in the world but also enjoy the quiet of our deck and hot tub. We are 20 minutes from Canada's Wonderland, the country's largest amusement park and a 2 hour drive from Niagara Falls. The bedrooms are spacious and we have lots of big windows and natural light. Living room, dining room, eat-in kitchen, family room and gym all offer spacious and comfortable living for a couple or small family.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
Our area offers access to both urban and rural experiences. Enjoy a stroll down our town Main Street and take in the restaurants, pubs and shopping. On other days, take a drive (or public transportation) into Toronto. It a 40 minute trip and is considered one of the most dynamic and diverse cities in the world. Day trip downtown could include a Blue Jay baseball game, Toronto FC Soccer, the CN Tower, the Toronto Zoo, Ripleys' Acquarium, Toronto's waterfront on Lake Ontario and beaches. We are 20 minutes from Canada's Wonderland, the country's largest amusement park and a 2 hour drive from Niagara Falls. Our home is adjacent to a huge park and a cycling/walking trail that is 30 km long. We can walk to the train that takes us to Toronto and the area is surrounded by hiking areas.
