We are a couple in their mid-twenties/early thirties living in the vibrant neighbourhood of St-Jean-Baptiste in Quebec City. I work for an advertising agency and my boyfriend Cédric is a lumber trader for his own company. We both work mostly from home. We love travel, good restaurants, discovering good wines, the outdoors, art and reading.

Description of the home we are offering for exchange
Our 4 1/2 apartment is extremely bright, with large windows overlooking the mountains and the most beautiful sunsets in Quebec City. Located on the top floor of a 3-unit building, you will have access to a well-equipped private terrace at the back (BBQ, table) as well as a roof terrace that we share with our nice neighbors, perfect to have a beer or drink on summer evenings and admire the panorama.
You will appreciate the open area of our residence, shared between the living room and the kitchen which is fully equipped. Our home also has a large bedroom with a queen bed, as well as second room with a desk. A second office is also installed in the kitchen, perfect for couples who work remotely.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
You will fall under the charm of the St-Jean-Baptiste district with its steep sloping streets, its colourful houses stacked on top of each other and its lively and welcoming character (Québec Cité). Crossed mainly by St-Jean-Baptiste Street, you will find a multitude of shops nearby: cafes, restaurants, microbreweries, bars, bakeries, pharmacies, grocery stores. You can do your shopping on foot.
At the junction of the Montcalm district, you will have easy access to the Plains of Abraham, a historic site of Quebec City and prestigious urban park where we like to picnic, jog, cross-country ski, cycling or just walk.
This is the ideal neighborhood to live neighborhood life while being close to tourist attractions.
