We had a fantastic time in Peter and Kim's beautiful home in Langley. The setting is majestic. The house is absolutely 7 stars. Kim has some of her own amazing paintings on display throughout. We were greeted by a delicious meal and plenty of goodies after our long journey. We luxuriated in the indoor swimming pool, and hot tub, in the mornings and after our many hikes in the local area and around Vancouver. The garden in beautiful. In it, we saw every type of bird from the tiny humming birds to a Bald Eagle. There is plenty to do in the area. We went on hikes to the Lower Falls, Golden Ears Regional Park, Campbell Regional Park, Kanaka Regional Park, Harrison Hot Springs, Cultus Lake, Capilano Reservoir and enjoyed all the hospitality that Fort Langley offers.. We swam at Deep Cove, Mosquitto Creek and Lynn Valley. We explored White Rock and Vancouver and spent a few days on Salt Spring Island - the boat trip was exceptional. All in all, we had a fantastic time in Kim and Peter's beautiful home. They were absolutely brilliant hosts.

Joan and I had a wonderful 3 weeks in the hills outside the beautiful seaside town of White Roc where our daughter lives. Kim and Peters house is 5 star surrounded by beautiful mature gardens,with wild dear and squirrels wandering in the lawns. We arrived to a tasty meal and bottle of local wine.The house is decorated with Kims beautiful paintings and we were spoiled with the large heated pool and hot tub that added to the luxury. The property It is ideally located to explore the greater Vancouver Area with all its attractions.This was our 3 rd visit to Vancouver and we keep finding new gems to explore.The following is a brief list of the highlights on this trip.Deep Cove, Longsdale market and Shipyard in North Vancouver, Fishermans Wharf in Steveston, Annual Campbell Valley Country Fair, Annual Langley Classic Car Cruise,Tsawwassen Ferry for 3 day trip to Vancouver Island, Beautiful Victoria City,The bewildering Buchart Garders,Historic Craigdarragh Castle and the pretty village of Chemainus in Brentwood Bay all on the island.The Mc Arthur Glen Shopping Mall,The majestic Granville Island Market,Othello Tunnels in Hope and finally the great local vineyards nearby and finishing off our exchange with a great wine tasting tour and gourmet meal in the Chamberton Estate Winery. We had a memorable exchange and big thanks to Kim and Peter.
