Our Home For Exchange

Description of the home we are offering for exchange

Our home is a completely updated rancher with all the modern amenities and a separate one bedroom guest cottage. The 1/2 acre property offers privacy and is designed for outside enjoyment. Although the main house has 2 bedrooms the 2nd bedroom is used as an all purpose room, however there is a good blow up queen size mattress if it is needed for sleeping.

Our neighbourhood is a quiet residential area within a close knit community known for its family friendly attitude with easy access to many parks and amenities. Our house is a block away from a park with 33 km of hiking trails including beach access. There are several museums including a Air base museum.

Our home is located within minutes of shopping, beaches and regional parks with miles of walking and hiking trails. Its 5 minutes from downtown Courtenay and there is easy access to the highway and a world of additional attractions and amenities including world redound Salmon fishing and Whale watching. We're minutes away from Mt. Washington where you can enjoy skiing in the winter and hiking the rest of the year. Courtenay is mid Island so it's an easy 3 hour drive to Victoria to the south or 3 hours to Port Hardy, the most northerly community in the Island.
