Pat and Doug's home in Canmore is outstanding. Comfortable, easy to use, lots of light and double height ceilings. A home definitely fit for purpose in the most amazing setting. We didn't want to leave. 5 minutes walk into town to gorgeous shops, coffee houses, bars and restaurants. The mountains, Bow river and nature in abundance, with amazing walks and trails to keep us entertained. Pat and Doug were easy to contact and we were able to arrange to exchange our cars as well as our homes. Highlights of the trip. There were so many but the highland games in Canmore, watching the elk by the river a 2 minute walk from the house and our epic road trip to Banff and up to Jasper with majestic waterfalls, bright blue lakes and the Rockies were all breathtaking not to mention the glaciers. We had the best time in Canada and give a huge thanks to Pat and Doug for sharing their home, car and beautiful country with us.

Pat & Doug, what can we say?! Your home, your area in the Rockies, magnificent! Thank you so much for sharing it all with us. We pinched ourselves each day as we couldn't believe we had been so lucky. We left home in 30+ degree heat and arrived in Canmore on a snowy day! A dream come true. On the day we left, there was so much snow all around that we felt we had woken up in a winter wonderland. Thank you for all the added touches that made us feel welcome. It was hard to leave. So glad we found each other. :-)
