BEACH BAR - EQUIPPED LIDO

Villa Penelope is located a few kilometers from Capo Passero whose lighthouse indicates the southernmost point of Italy, considerably further south of Tunis. The coast is almost entirely made up of long sandy beaches, the same ones where the British and Canadian forces landed during the 2nd World War.

To the west is the port of Pozzallo from where, in almost 90 minutes by catamaran, it is possible to reach Malta. To the north the splendid Baroque city of Noto, Syracuse, once the most powerful city of Magna Graecia and the Vendicari Nature Reserve, a place of beautiful unspoilt beaches famous for the migration of flamingos and the nesting of turtles.
A little less than 30 minutes by car to the west are other beautiful cities of the "Val di Noto" UNESCO heritage site, Modica, Scicli and Ragusa not far away.

The beaches in the area of ​​Pozzallo and Marina di Ragusa have repeatedly obtained the "Blue Flag" award for the cleanliness and clarity of the water.

32 umbrellas equipped with sunbeds and ample space around for sunbathing, relaxing by reading one of the books or newspapers made available to guests or surfing freely thanks to a powerful wi-fi. A lounging area where you can stop in the shade of the reeds at any time of the day. And at any time be immersed in the magical light of Porto Ulisse, tasting the products of the Kiosk and listening to the music of the sea.
The bathing establishment is open from 9.00 to 19.00. Each umbrella is equipped with two sun loungers and can accommodate two adults and two children under the age of 12 (small armchairs are provided for children) plus it is possible to request the bar service at the umbrella.

THE KIOSK

The kiosk is open from 9.00 to 22.00. Access is free even for those who do not use deck chairs and umbrellas. We serve breakfasts, lunches and dinners with a simple and light menu. Upon reservation we organize dinners with agreed menus. The aperitif can be simple (a drink and some accompanying appetizers) or extended (a drink and a series of small courses).
