We are both retired. Our place of residence is Tengen in Baden Württemberg Germany - a little town near Black Forest and Lake of Constance. We like walking, gardening, music, traveling, good food and wine, cooking. We have 3 children, 6 grandchildren. Some of them like to travel with us, sometimes. We use to travel alone or - if possible - with our little italian dog fiora.
(not sleeping in the bed, sitting on the armchair or eating boots).

Our Home For Exchange
Description of the home we are offering for exchange
The house is a very old historic building, part of the castle. In the past used as a monastery and church, nearby the old town center with shops, post-office, restaurants, bars etc. House and garden are very quiet and romantik.
An old building with any modern equipment.
Two sleeping rooms with 2 single beds, bathrooms en suit, one with shower and bathtube. Two bed couches in the living rooms. Three open fireplaces.
A lovely terrace and garden with old, big trees, a marvellous view to the seafront and landscape. The old "Fonte Battessimale"in the garden, a relict of the old church, is dated anno 1580. It is our second home, we and our children love it very much. There are two other holiday apartments in the house which we rent usually during summertime.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
On a walk trough the historic little lanes You will reach the center of our little town with restaurants, supermarket, bars, post office, pharmacy etc. Although it is possible to walk in the woods or landscape. The beech app. 15 min by car. Siena 1 hour, Florenz 2 hours, Pisa 1 hour, Roma 2 hours, also by train. Two golf courses nearby.

By car it's less than 15 min to the beach. Golf course "Toscana Pelagone" 10 min., " Punta Ala" 30 min. Siena, Florenz, Rome by car or train 1 or 2 ours fare away.

For this year, 2022, we have already changed.
We would like to get our house back as we leave it. Sorry, but we can not accept pets. Because we rent two holiday aptms. in Italy and there are animals not allowed. We ourselves have a little dog. Not bigger than a cat. No sleeping in bed, not sitting on the armchair, not eating boots. (she is 5 years old). It would be fine to have she with us for exchange. When it is not possible, we will find another solution.
