Hello! We are busy parents to 4 even busier boys. We have had 2 great exchanges so far and look forward to many more successful exchange adventures.
I work part time as a nurse in university hospital Limerick. Joe is a plant operator in Irish Cement. Our 2 youngest boys attend the local national school and the oldest 2 are in secondary school. They play Gaelic football, hurling(our national sport) rugby & soccer. They are also scouts, & love the adventures they have with this organisation.
We all enjoy cycling & cycle to the forest park near our home regularly. During the summer, we love camping, bbq's, picnics & bodyboarding. Joe & I like spending time in the garden. We are not great gardeners, but we hope you might enjoy our flowers, fruit, herbs & vegetables. We love cooking (& eating!), entertaining, walking & hiking. We also enjoy travelling, cinema, architecture, crafts & music.
We are hospitable and hope to make our exchange family most welcome in our home.

Read More...Carol and I were looking for a house in Ireland in order to take our children to a summer camp and make them improve their English. It wasn't a holiday really, but we enjoyed the Atlantic coast and the mouth of the river Shannon. Our kids liked being in the house. It was big and spacious and plenty of toys to play. They also enjoyed the deer views from the house and the farms with cows next to the house. Curraghchase park was also a nice place to visit, with its fairy trail which our kids loved. We liked the food Anne left us for the first meal, which we really appreciated since we arrived home late. Nice places to visit nearby. Adare, Killarney, Crescent shopping centre, Limerick, the Atlantic coast, Galway, and all the fabulous castles you find everywhere. Ireland is a lovely country to visit. We thank the Murray McCauley for letting us stay in their home. We felt welcomed and comfortable.
