From our house it is a six minute drive to the nearest town, Thurles. We are nicely situated to visit key cities and tourist sites. Kilkenny Castle is a forty minute drive, one of many places to visit in this lovely city. The Rock of Cashel is twenty minutes drive away in this lovely tourist town. We are one hour drive from Limerick city and an hour and fifteen to the rebel city of Cork. Our capital city, Dublin, is an hour and a half away. Cork, Limerick & Dublin have a direct train link from the town of Thurles.

Our local swimming pool, leisure centre, library and theater are located overlooking the river Suir. Thurles is home to Ireland's national sport of Hurling, and during the summer you may be able to see this thrilling sport at Semple Stadium in the town. If you like Golf you have come to the right place as we have an abundance of golf courses on our doorstep.

Co. Tipperary and the province of Munster have many scenic places to visit. If you like hiking or going for walks in the country side there is much to enjoy. Beautiful Templemore park is 15 mins away, and the famous Devil's Bit is 20 mins away. Just 3km away is our local athletics track which is open for public use.

Activities for children include pony trekking, high wire forest adventure (Castlecomer) and an indoor trampoline park (Limerick).
