We had a great experience at Aidrienne and Neil’s country home. They met us in Dublin for the car and keys handover, then we drove to their home which was a peaceful respite from bustling Dublin. Having a cup of tea or wine on their terrace overlooking the fields and Galtee mountains was so blissful. The sunrise and sunsets over the mountains were beautiful. Their home was spacious and comfortable, and had many nooks for us to disappear to. The location was central to various towns in all directions. We loved exploring the countryside. The Irish were warm and friendly people, and we enjoyed their company and services in pubs (great live music), restaurants (Elbow Lane in Cork) and butchers (James Whelan in Clonmel) etc. Aidrienne and Neil left us many brochures and books on the area, and gave us good suggestions on where to visit. They were also quick to respond to any questions. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

We had a great exchange in Ireland. The home was lovely and spacious in a beautiful rural area. The location was perfect for easy access to all of the sights along the southern/southwestern coast. Also easy access to the home from either the Shannon or Dublin Airports. It was so nice to return to a "home" after a busy day of sightseeing or to spend a day walking along the country lanes adjacent to this home. Neil and Aidrienne were gracious hosts and e thoroughly enjoyed meeting them and staying in their country home.
