Our Home For Exchange
Description of the home we are offering for exchange
We have a good size, comfortable family home with stunning panoramic lake views. Our house is very private and has an electronic gate. Our house is a bungalow with plenty of outside space. There is a large, bright living room with a fireplace and lake views. The kitchen/dining room is also large, bright and comfortable and has lake views. There is a small utility and toilet off the kitchen.
The master bedroom is ensuite (with large shower) and has a walk-in wardrobe. It is a very large comfortable room with lake views. The other 2 bedrooms are to the back of the house. Small double bed in one and 2 single beds in the other. Cot also available. There is a large bathroom with bath and large shower beside these rooms. The 3rd room is used as an office/playroom.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
Our neighbourhood is friendly and quiet with stunning panoramic lake views.
We live in the hills overlooking Lough Derg and while we enjoy a wonderful rural location we are still only 2 miles (5 minutes by car) from the town of Ballina which is across from the historic town of Killaloe, Co. Clare. The towns are linked by a bridge over the river Shannon with Lough Derg close by. The whole area is very scenic and there are many beautiful walks to take and also plenty of outdoor activities to pursue.
There are many lovely restaurants, pubs, shops and sites to visit! The town's location is very convenient for touring the mid-west and beyond! Cork, Killarney, the Cliffs of Moher, Galway, The Burren and Dublin are all about 2 hours away. Shannon airport is only a 45 minute drive.
