SUMMER EXCHANGE for 2024 is now booked :-)
Our home is in a quiet, scenic setting & surrounded with plenty of green fields, we have lovely friendly neighbours who will help you out if needs be during your stay. We have great access to all outdoor activities e.g walking, biking...aprox 2 mins walk from our gate begins the trail "Irelands Ancient East" .....We are 19km from Tipperary town which is on the edge of the very beautiful Glen of Aherlow. Within 1 hour 15 mins drive you can be on the Wild West coast of county Clare famous for its surfing,
sandy beaches, links golf course&forms part of 'the wild Atlantic way' which stretches from the north western tip of Ireland to the southern tip of Ireland. We are central to many historic sights including Cashel, Cahir, Limerick , Bunratty & much more. Within 30 mins drive are the 5 star resorts of Dromoland Castle, Co Clare or Adare Manor, both with 18 hole golf courses.
We are a 15 mins ( 16 km ) from Limerick junction which has direct TRAIN access to Dublin , Cork and other smaller towns - a family return train ticket ( 2 adults & up to 4 children) costs aprox 70 euros to Dublin ( www.irishrail.ie)

We love our home& look forward to welcoming you here for a comfortable stay in The west of Ireland. We had a very successful 3 week exchange (in our previous home )with a lovely French family in July 2013( Potier) .We had a lovely exchange ( July & August 2015) in SE France & a very successful exchange to Switzerland in summer 2016 & a beautiful exchange to the Black Forest area of Germany in Summer 2017. In 2018 we had a fantastic trip to Berlin & 2019 a great trip to Budapest - In 2022 we had a fantastic trip to Flensburg & Summer 2023 we visited Coer D'Arlene , Idaho , USA ..another AMAZING trip ....
