Looking for Ireland destination at Easter or Summer 2021. It’s not looking like we will be getting on a plane this year so I am looking for exchanges within Ireland this year. Summer (July and August only as I am a teacher) I’m looking for anywhere near the coast.
My home is a two bedroomed townhouse in Limerick city, on the site of Frank McCourt's home as featured in "Angela's Ashes". The area is 10 minutes from the city centre in a quiet Victorian neighbourhood. Locally there is a park, local pubs serving pub grub all day and great public transport. My house is a 10 minute walk from Limerick bus and train station, with connections to Cork, Dublin, Kerry, Clare and all areas of Ireland. Limerick is also on the Wild Atlantic Way. Shannon airport is a 30 minute drive away with connectivity to Europe and North America.Within an hour drive, you can walk on the famous Burren landscape, surf in Lahinch, dine in medieval style in Bunratty Castle or marvel at the cliffs of Moher. An hour south and you enter the famous kingdom of Kerry with it's breathtaking scenic views of mountains and lakes

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
My neighbourhood is a lovely Victorian suburb just 10 minutes walk from the shopping areas and city centre of Limerick. As the house is on a one way street surrounded by schools, there is very little traffic and it could be a million miles away from the city such is the good night's sleep you will have! There are three pubs and two little grocery shops at the end of the road where you can get a drink, award winning pub grub or a pint of milk. The nieghbours are friendly and there is off street parking in an allocated space for your car.
