We need pet care for our cat.
We love to stay in a quiet peacefull surrounding.

We hebben een heerlijke midweek gehad, die zeker voor herhaling vatbaar is. Wat is het mooi daar rondom Wezep. Vanuit Wezep zit je zo bij de Flierefluiter (echt top met kinderen), Walibi, het Dolfinarium en veel meer. Hun kat Noodles is een schatje, in het begin heel bang, maar na een rustige kennismaking 1 op 1 mag hij graag geaaid worden en echt geen belasting om voor te zorgen.

We were very happy to benefit from the large and very well located house of the Groeneveld family: shops by the house, nice towns and places accessible with bikes (in perfect conditions), major touristic spots in a more or less 1 hour drive. Nathalie, Hans and the children are very sympathetic and it was a pleasure to meet them. We had a very nice stay thanks to them.

Wir hatten einen schönen Urlaub in Wezep. Das Haus ist schön und praktisch gelegen (direkt an einem Einkaufszentrum) mit guten Parkmöglichkeiten. Besonders die Städte Zwolle und Harderwijk haben uns sehr gut gefallen. Auch ein Ausflug nach Amsterdam ist gut machbar und hat viel Spaß gemacht. Sämtliche Orte sind gut erreichbar, da die Autobahn sehr nah ist (aber auch weit genug, um keinen Autolärm zu hören). Die Gegend eignet sich auch hervorragend zum Fahrrad fahren. - Leider hatten wir mit dem Wetter Pech. Das hätte gerne besser sein dürfen. Ansonsten haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt, sowohl im Haus als auch mit und in der Umgebung.

Thank`s for having a great first exchange in such a wonderful area. We enyoyed the bicycle tours and the children loves the big trampolin. Its not so far from Amsterdam , so we had two interesting trips to the town and at the northsea. We were surprised about the very friendly people in Netherland.

Description of the home we are offering for exchange

We have already an exchange summer 2024!!

DISCOVER the LANDSCAPES OF the Veluwe. Wezep, our village at a unique location between the forests and heaths of the Veluwe.

Our house with large fenced garden on the corner. Close to a nice shopping centre. House is simply and child-friendly decorated. A lot of toys and board games available.
We have four children's bedrooms, three with a single bed and one with an double bed (160x 200 cm).
The master bedroom with double bed (140 x 200 cm).
A small bathroom with a shower and a sink. A bath bucket, also to use for adults, which you can put in the shower. (Or even in the garden with warm weather.)

Downstairs we have a L-shaped living room with large wide-screen tv with Playstation 3 and dvd player.
A kitchen/dining room, separated by a sliding partition. Everything simply furnished, with large oven. A large diningtable with 6 chairs in the livingroom. Computer corner in the kitchen. A great large outdoor inground trampoline, for hours of fun.
Also 6 bikes available for you to use.
In the garden is an extra room for the children to watch a movie or play a game with dvd/ Xbox.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area

Our house is situated close to the shopping centre (30 metres) with 2 supermarkets, several drugstores and some other shops.
A lot of forest in our village and our region.
nice historical villages , city's to visit; Hattem, Zwolle, Kampen, Elburg, Deventer.
Amsterdam is at a distance of 100 kilometres. It is an hour by car or 1,5 hour by train from our village.
We have a trainstation also in Wezep.

We live in a large village in a beautiful green area.
A subtropical swimmingpool close by. (10 minutes by feet.)

And large lakes with sandy beaches in the forests at a distance of 7 kilometres and 18 kilometres.
Walibi, Dolfinarium, Ponypark Slagharen en Julianatoren, Zoo Apenheul are not far away.

Wezep is an esdorp on the edge of the Veluwe, in the Dutch province of Gelderland. Wezep, as a village, has 13,680 inhabitants.

ACTIVE ON THE ROAD
Whether you want to go hiking, cycling, fishing, swimming, skating, horseback riding, canoeing or just enjoy the peace and quiet, in our area.
Heerde with its cores Wapenveld, Veessen, Vorchten and Hoorn offers it! In the lowlands between Zwolle and Apeldoorn, on the northernmost tip of the Veluwe and in the east the beautiful river IJssel, with within walking or cycling distance the medieval town of Hattem and the touristy somewhat busier Epe, enjoy the peace that Heerde offers you.

DISCOVER the LANDSCAPES
Due to its unique location between the forests and heaths of the Veluwe and the IJsselvallei, the municipality of Heerde is a pearl in terms of landscape.

Clog paths and marked hiking trails through the forests, a canoe route and a cycling network make this possible. Spot wild animals on the way such as meadow and raptors, foxes, pigs and hares. Or go fishing along the waterfront and enjoy the water birds.

Enjoy the cycling routes on the Veluwe The Veluwe is one of the most beautiful areas in the Netherlands to discover by bike.The Veluwe is located in the province of Gelderland and is about 91,200 hectares in size. After the Wadden Sea, this is the largest nature reserve in the Netherlands. The Veluwe consists mainly of dry forests, wet and dry heathland, fens and sand drifts. Discover it during junction routes on the Veluwe.

Our home exchange - here are our Preferences and House Rules

We would like an exchange in summer '24 for 2 or 3 weeks. We are looking for a place in a quiet neighborhood, preferably in a village or outside a village. Preferably not in a city, but in a quiet place on the outskirts would be fine. Preferably a rural or area with forest, or a lake nearby or with other swimming possibilities..

We would like to take care of your pets also if needed.
We will keep your house clean and tidy.
We of course expect you to do the same. And we hope you feel at home and you will enjoy your stay very much in our house.
We need pet care for our cat, Noodles. And for our two guinea pigs. We would like to bring our labrador Morris with us on our holidays or we can bring him to friends. (He is well behaved and friendly for other dogs and cats. He is not allowed upstairs or on the sofa.)
