Austerlitz meadow barn house 200 m2 . One main house (one bedroom 2 people) and one semi-attached bungalow/studio (2 people) with it's own entrance.

Realized 2015, Space for 4 cars, own meadow /forest grounds fully fenced so safe for children or pets.
Austerlitz is a small town best known for Napoleon's army of 20000 that was formed here in 1804 to be a spearhead against a possible British attack. Later named after the battle of Austerlitz in remembrance of Napoleon, by his brother Lodewijk Napoleon. You can visit the landmark Pyramid of Austerlitz built by the army as a team excercise.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
Located in the Utrechtse Heuvelrug National Park - amidst forests. You can start hours long hiking, mountain-bike / bicycling tours from our meadow! Just 14 kilometers East of Utrecht - 15 minutes by train or car and 35 minutes by bicycle. Utrecht is a lively student city and has a medieval town centre, Duomo and 'longest terrace of Europe' along its old canal Oudegracht. In the immediate 25 km around our home you a very divers country-side with rivers, meadows, forests, lakes and many interesting towns with ample opportunity for discovering local culture, food, shopping and walks or rides or drives or golf. We are perfectly centrally located in the Netherlands for easy day trips as well. The North Sea coastline on the West and the Eastern border to Germany are both less than one hour away by car or train. The cultural interesting cities of Rotterdam, The Hague and Amsterdam are 40-50 minutes by car. Groningen in the upper North and Maastricht in the deep South are less than 2 hours.
