We are a couple both just over 50.Niels working as a geography teacher and Anke as a researcher. We love travelling to Africa (East and West) but this time we are heading in the opposite direction. We like the idea of exchange. For us it is the first time and we are looking forward to it.

Appartment 95m2 in IJburg, the latest Amsterdam city extension. City center by lightrail 20min, by bike 40 min.
Like the old centre of Amsterdam this new residential neighbourhood is characterized by its water image: it is situated along the IJsselmeer (a lake).
A growing number of very nice restaurants is at your service. The lightrail nr 26 (departure evey 6 min) will take you to the city centre in 15-20 minutes. At 24.30 PM the lightrail stops its service and is replaced by a half hour bus service. So after a visit to the Hermitage museum and a nice diner in town you will still reach home by nightbus!
