Anneke and Wiebe, we enjoyed staying at your home with a spacious living/dining area. A good parking spot in front of your home was always to be found. We would have loved to sit at your very nice terrace with all the flowers, but we picked a rainy week... The area is very interesting for day trips to wonderful cities, and villages with historic background. In nice little ports we watched boats coming and going, had lunch or teatime and let the world go by. Netherlands with its many waterways is a wonderful vacation destination. Het was al even geleden dat wij langer dan een dag in de randstad/ het groene hart van de randstad waren geweest. Vanuit het comfortabele appartement van Anneke en Wiebe hadden we de kans om de regio te herontdekken. We gingen op familiebezoek, maar bezochten ook nieuwe en al bekende locaties zoals Laren, Naarden-vesting, Weesp en Amsterdam. We konden nog net de prachtige expositie van Kees van Dongen in Singer Laren meepikken. Het prachtige weer hielp ook enorm mee om er een relaxte en fijne vaknatie van te maken. Dan daarvoor!

Prachtig, afwisselend landschap, goed uitgeruste keuken. We hebben ons prima vermaakt.

Wir hatten bei Wiebe & Anneke in Huizen schöne und erlebnisreiche Tage, haben sehr viel gesehen und auch sehr nette Menschen kennen gelernt. Huizen ist ein Ort mit sehr schönen Ortsteilen, prima zum Flanieren, Einkaufen, Erholen, ... Wir waren viel unterwegs, z.B. in Alemere, Amsterdam, im Openlicht Museum in Oosterbeek, in Blaricum, Zaanse Shans, in Burgers Zoo, Hilversum, im Airborn Museum in Arnheim, ... alles prima! Wir danken beiden Tauschpartnern für diese schönen Tage und wünschen ihnen noch sehr viele weitere nette Tauschfreunde.

We had two joyful weeks at Annekes' and Wiebe's home. Huizen is a lovely town and a good place to explore idyllic lakes to take a time out nearby as well as picturesque cities around. We made many trips from there by bicycle. Even to the sea side it is only a 45 minute ride by car. We will remember gladly this beautiful exchange.

A beautiful and well situated appartment with a lovely terrace in blossom. And the sun was with us to discover Holland. We bike a lot.

Dit was de tweede keer dat wij met Wiebe en Anneke ruilden. Hun appartement is ruim en mooi ingericht, er is een groot terras met prachtige bloemen en planten waar we gezellig konden zitten. De locatie is fijn, aan de éne kant in het echt groene Gooi aan de andere kant in de levendige stadjes Huizen, Laren, Blaricum enz. Er zijn vanuit huis mooie fietstochten te maken. Wiebe and Anneke have a beautiful house on the outskirts of Amsterdam but well communicated with the city. We rest well at home. The house is very large and very well equipped in a very beautiful landscape.
