Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
We are situated on a Golf course just outside of a town (Fuengirola) - halfway between Malaga & Marbella.
While many come for the beach (La Cala Mijas & Cabapino are our favorites) we are drawn to the mountains and spend as much time up in the traditional Spanish small towns (Alhaurin & Monda) while we are staying at our home here.
We think a car is essential to make the most of the area (we drive ours from the UK) but some people are happy to use Ubers & local cabs instead.
