Our Home For Exchange
Description of the home we are offering for exchange
We only exchange this house in April, May, June, September and October. Available for rent late June to early September..
The Flower House is our seaside home. It is situated 150m from a quiet beach and has spectacular views across the Euboikan Straits to the Greek mainland. It is a 5 min car ride to Nea Styra which is a Greek resort that reminds us of Greece 20 years ago. It is only available between April and the end of October as the Greek weather becomes changeable/cold in the winter.
The house is individual in its own small garden. The downstairs has low ceilings and is an open plan living/kitchen/dining area (2 futons for extra guests) with the main bathroom off. The upstairs has a living room and 2 bedrooms (1 double 1 twin) and a shower room. The living room has a sofa bed so it is possible to sleep 8 people. There is a balcony to 3 sides.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
A residential hamlet of 2nd homes located around a quiet beach with gently shelving sand to crystal clear water. An hours stroll along the beach will bring you to a cluster of tavernas, a bar and a shop. We advise you to hire a car as the island is the second largest in Greece and it has many historic sites, typical greek villages, forests and amazing beaches. Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
The tavernas provide wonderful fresh food at a very competitive price....for example a meal for 4 with calamariki, gavros, chips, salad, bread and wine will work out at about 6euro (£5 $7) per person in Nea Styra. The Argean coast on the other side of the island is only a 15 min drive and here are some wonderful picturesque coves. Further North is the town of Eritrea with its museum and on-going archaeological dig revealing more and more of this town back through history. All visitors receive a large manual of where to go and what to do BUT more than anything this is a place to get away from it all, sit on the balcony and watch the sun set.
