Our Home For Exchange
Description of the home we are offering for exchange
Our house is centrally located in Central Germany. The city of Dessau has about 82,000 inhabitants and is located in the middle of beautiful nature on the rivers Elbe and Mulde.
Dessau is famous for its UNESCO World Heritage Bauhaus (Meistehäuser, Bauhaus Museum, Bauhaussiedlung, Kornhaus....) and the UNESCO Garden Kingdom of Dessau-Wörlitz with its many castles and parks.
The Anhaltische Theater Dessau (Kurt-Weil-Fest) and the Mitteldeutsches Theater as well as the UCI cinema invite you to visit. Likewise, you can go to one of the many bathing lakes in the area, gladly also by bike, because in and around Dessau exists a very good network of bike paths.
Other excursion destinations include the Dessau Zoo, the Hugo Junkers Museum of Technology, the Museum of City History, the Museum of Natural History, and the Bauhaus Museum.
Our house has 4 bedrooms, 2 kitchens, 2 bathrooms, sitting area in the garden and balcony and was recently completely renovated.
From Dessau it is about 120 km to Berlin and about 70km to Leipzig.
Unser Haus liegt zentral gelegen in Mitteldeutschland. Die Stadt Dessau hat ca. 82.000 Einwohner und liegt in mitten wunderschöner Natur an den Flüssen Elbe und Mulde.
Dessau ist berühmt für sein UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe Bauhaus (Meistehäuser, Bauhausmuseum, Bauhaussiedlung, Kornhaus....) und das UNESCO-Gartenreich Dessau-Wörlitz mit seinen vielen Schlössern und Parkanlagen.
Das Anhaltische Theater Dessau (Kurt-Weil-Fest) und das Mitteldeutsches Theater sowie das UCI-Kino laden zum Besuch ein. Ebenso kann man zu einem der vielen Badeseen in der Umgebung fahren, gerne auch mit dem Fahrrad, denn in und um Dessau existiert ein sehr gutes Radwegenetz.
Zu weiteren Ausflugszielen gehören der Tierpark Dessau, das Technikmuseum Hugo Junkers, Museum für Stadtgeschichte, Naturkundemuseum, Bauhausmuseum
Unser Haus verfügt über über 4 Schlafzimmer, 2 Küchen, 2 Bäder, Sitzecke im Garten und Balkon und wurde erst vor kurzem komplett saniert.
Von Dessau sind es ca. 120 km nach Berlin und ca. 70km nach Leipzig.

After only a few 100 meters you are already in unique nature. The floodplain landscape of the two rivers Elbe and Mulde invites you to hike, bike and relax.
It is the only remaining floodplain landscape in Europe.
Nach nur wenigen 100 Metern befinden sie sich bereits in einzigartiger Natur. Die Auenlandschaft der beiden Flüsse Elbe und Mulde lädt zum Wandern, Radfahren und Entspannen ein.
Sie ist die Einzige noch existierende Auenlandschaft in Europa.
