Our Home For Exchange
Description of the home we are offering for exchange
Bohemian hotspot for 4 (if necessary up to 6) people: Our flat is not fancy or posh (like some of the surrounding penthouses), but charming, a little bit improvised, with nice views, spacious (more then > 120 sqm/1200 sqf) and in the middle of everything. You will find restaurants, bars, playgrounds, best cinemas, museums, opera, theatre, organic supermarkets, famous ice creme parlours and a famous bakery in walking distance. A park with beach volleyball and table tennis is across the street. Not at all a must, but especially suitable for families with kids and classical musisians. We have a nice grand piano and you are allowed to practice also in the evening. It it is not in her holidays our housekeeper will do the cleaning once a week (3 hours) while you are in our appartment.

Very popular area in the centre of old Berlin-Mitte. Restaurants, bars, playgrounds, arthouse as well as commercial cinemas (many movies displayed in the original version), museums, opera, theatres, boutiques, organic supermarkets, famous ice creme parlours and a famous bakery in walking distance. A park with beach volleyball and table tennis is across the street. Public transport in walking distance (Subway U8, U2, S-Bahn Hackescher Markt or Alexanderplatz and Tram)

Our home exchange - here are our Preferences and House Rules
Our flat is in some terms a little bit improvised and the many books and a lot of stuff is not in closets, but on shelves. If you need a clear, supertidy and superclean and well designed environment, maybe this is not what you are looking for. Nevertheless there is antique furniture and pottery and the grand piano you would have to be a little bit careful with. It is therefore not suitable for young "partypeople". We would still accept young people, as long as they show responsibility. Guests are of course not allowed to smoke in the flat. We very much welcome children, who will find toys and a playground opposite the house. Musicians very welcome. But actually anybody is welcome and there is no special rules apart from being friendly to our neighbours. We don´t have animals, but maybe if you have a dog, it might still be possible to bring it.
