Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
The village of Villes sur Auzon is a typical french Provencal village with several restaurants, grocery stores, bakery and other village shops. It is situated at the base of Mont Ventoux - famous cyckling area from Le Tour de France, but there are many quite roads for cycling for leisure as well. It is 20 min drive from Carpentras and 40 minutes from Avignon. There is a small lake with a sandy beach in the next village (Mormoiron). The Public pool in the village is open July and August. You do not need a car but it is recommended as there are only 4 buses a day.

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
In the village are several restaurants, a cafe and a pub. There is a grocery store and a small supermarket, bakery and other shops.
Around the village are numerous vineyards where you can go wine tasting, quiet roads for easy cycling or why not cycle up the famous Mont Ventoux. There are also many nice hikes in the area as we are on the absolut edge of Le Gorges de la Nesque.
We are 20 minutes from Carpentras and 40 minutes from Avignon.

Our home exchange - here are our Preferences and House Rules
It is our 2nd home. Cleaning can be arranged for a fee - as we do back to back exchanges during the summer we want to ensure the house is made up for the next visitors. We will of course leave your house as we found it - or if possible pay for cleaning.
