La maison de Caroline et Bernard est une véritable "maison de bord de mer", à deux pas du bassin, très accessible depuis le centre ville et la gare. Nous avons eu un beau contact humain...sans toutefois nous rencontrer, et nous nous sommes régalés en sillonnant les environs du bassin d'Arcachon à vélo. Merci pour cet échange à nouveau réussi !!

We had a great time at Caroline and Bernards house. It was well equipped with eveything we needed and enjoyed the swimming pool very much. We had a very nice communication with Caroline and Bernard long before the swap and were in contact during our exchange. They left us a perfect dinner for our first night and Carolines mother stepped by to see, if we need anything. At the end of our stay we met at their house and had a nice lunch together. There are many things to do in and around Arcachon and Carolines and Bernards house is a perfect base.

Au quartier de l'Aiguillon, à Arcachon, nous avons été accueillis dans la maison chaleureuse et bien aménagée de la famille Lummeaux. Ce petit paradis nous a permis chaque soir de nous ressourcer dans un environnement verdoyant ou encore de profiter de la piscine et ses abords. La région d'Arcachon recèle de nombreux sites naturels qui gagnent à être connus. Avec la bienveillance et la sympathie de Bernard et Caroline, nous avons pu ainsi passer des vacances inoubliables.

Échange très réussi. La maison est idéalement située pour visiter Arcachon et ses environs, en vélo comme en voiture. Nos filles ont adoré la piscine et nous avons apprécié le coin terrasse/détente. La maison est très chaleureuse. Les contacts avec Caroline et Bernard ont été très agréables avant et pendant l'échange. Notre retour à la maison: maison propre et rangée comme laissée à notre départ. Nous recommandons cet échange qui pour nous restera un très bon moment en famille! Merci à Caroline et Bernard

Thanks to the nice family Lummeux we were able to get to know and fall in love with the Atlantic coast. The residence is perfect, large, welcoming and makes you feel on holiday even staying at home. We will not forget the bike rides along the beach and the hospitality .. Thanks

We enjoyed a fabulous trip to Arcachon, located just south west of Bordeaux. Caroline and Bernard's home was wonderful. Very comfortable with everything that you would need and perfectly located. The pool is a great addition and was enjoyed by us and our two boys many times (especially after a wonderful cycle around the area) There are many lovely shops and restaurants very close by in L'aiguillon or you can go further to enjoy all that Arcachon and its surrounds have to offer. Caroline and Bernard were lovely people who met us on arrival to show us around the house. They left us lots of information on the area and things to do and we happily followed most of their recommendations for 'must do's' and restaurants. Overall a very successful exchange and we would highly recommend a holiday in Arcachon. We hope to return soon!
