Dear family Hingston, we enjoyed our days in Saint Cheron, a lovely village just outside Paris. The location of your house is ideal, on walking distance from the centre with a great bakery, little shops and restaurants. It was easy to take the train to Paris and Versailles. We have spent a very enjoyable 10 days at this house. It was authentically French with a lot of character. It was in a great location for exploring the surrounding area. As well as taking the RER into Paris from opposite the house, we also visited Monet's gardens at Giverny, Parc Asterix and Chartres by car. We were very comfortable in the house. It had plenty of space for everyone (we could have fitted a whole other family in!) and it had everything we needed, including a very loving cat. Janine was lovely to correspond with and they looked after our house very well too. A very nice family! We would be very happy to swap with them again.

Our Home For Exchange

Description of the home we are offering for exchange

A 3-floor Victorian house with garden, great for families, opposite the railway station (direct to center of Paris 1hr),in a small town with all amenities. Surrounded by woods for walking.
Our house is very easy to live in, with space for everyone - for quiet reading or music listening downstairs to watching TV upstairs. The whole garden is enclosed, so very safe for children. The back garden has no vis-a-vis from neighbours and is very private. The town is well located for visiting Paris, Versailles, Chartres or going south to the Loire wine valley.

Downstairs: entry with space for coats and shoes, toilet with shower, lounge, dining room, kitchen.
First floor: 3 bedrooms and a bathroom with bath and shower and second toilet.
Second floor: TV/family room with sofa.
Garden annexe: playroom, bedroom, bathroom
