Description of the home we are offering for exchange
Our home is an ancien 18th century farm, at 100 m from the shore of Annecy lake and at the bottom of the mountain, with a shared courtyard and a small garden. We can host 9 people with 5 rooms. Kids will find lots of toys and games. Bikes are at disposal, as cycling is the best way to move in Annecy. From home you'll be able to swim in the lake in few seconds, or go hiking in the mountain.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
Our neighbours are mostly seniors. They very nice and helpfull, as long as we respect their privacy.
The lake is at only 100 meters, you just have to cross the road and follow a small path. In summer the water temperature is around 25° C, and you can enjoy all the water activities as swimming, sailing, or paddling. There are several beaches with restaurant along the lake. Our home is also at the bottom of the french alps. You can leave directly from the house for a hike on the Semnoz mountain. The Mont Blanc is around 1h driving. If you come in winter to ski the nearest resort is at the top of the Semnoz, which is 15-20 mn driving.
The old Annecy, a very lovely city with medieval heritage, is 5 minutes driving, 15 mn biking (there is a cycling path all along the lake shore). Geneva is 50 mn driving, Lyon 1h15.

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
There are a lot of attractions nearby. Water activities on the lake (swim, paddle, canoe, saling, windsurf,...), cycling along the lake, hiking, rafting and climbing in the mountains. Annecy is a very lovely city to visit, where you can do shopping and have a nice meal. The area is very famous for its gastronomy, and there are around ten michelin star restaurants around the lake. You can also visit Geneva, as Switzerland is 30 miles away, or go further in the mountains to have a look at Chamonix and the Mont Blanc.
