Anne is American. She moved to France from Ohio in 1985, trained as a French chef and, after a stint working as a private chef, started working freelance in translation, publishing, and communications. She later founded a publishing house in New York (www.lefrenchbook.com), and then co-founded a consulting business here in France with Fabrice. She lived in Paris until 12 years ago, when the family moved to Pibrac.
Fabrice was born in France, in a city called Montargis, approximately 110 km south of Paris. He is very technology driven. After almost 10 years spent as as tech journalist in different publications (print and online), he then wrote and managed a subscription-based tech info card collection for a few years, all about how to use the Internet. He then started a carrer as an author of tech books for beginners, and wrote more than 20. All this lead to the founding of the consulting business with Anne, called Pro-fusion Conseils (www.pro-fusion.biz).
Rose was born in Paris in 2005 and is growing up bilingual. She attends an international program that is primarily in French, but with several courses in English with other native English speakers. She spends a month every summer in Woods Hole, MA, with cousins.
Also, we belong to two very independent cats, who happen to let us live in their house.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
Our house is located in Pibrac, 15 km west of Toulouse, which is a culturally rich city. Pibrac is a small town that is home to many people working at Airbus. Trains also go to Toulouse. Pibrac has a historical church, a basilica (due to having its very own saint in the 1500s), and a château (belonging to the Count of Pibrac). There are woods nearby.
