We are a couple of teachers who began to exchange in 2006 on a website of teachers then later we joined Trocmaison we leave now because they did not keep during the merger, the spirit of exchange, sharing and friendship that we love so much.
JP is retired but remains bassoonist and saxophonist and Blandine teaches French (foreign language) and is a singer.
We love literature, art, walking, swimming, kayaking in Britain; we desperately try kayaking!!
We love to travel, of course, discover new destinations and meet new people, but we also like to go back to the places we loved and are very happy to stay in touch with the people we have already talked to.
We love the city, the mountains, the sea...
We can leave during the school holidays up to 2 months in the summer.
The exchanges are not necessarily simultaneous.
In Paris as in Camoël (South Brittany), we can accommodate only 2 adults non-smoking and without pets.

Description of the home we are offering for exchange
We exchange our apartment in Paris or our house in southern Brittany in Camoël.
For long-term exchanges (1 or 2 months in summer) to distant destinations (Americas or Australia ...), our two houses 500 km away can be convenient to visit France.
Our apartment is very quiet and sunny. It overlooks a space without vis-à-vis. In the distance, the towers of the 13th district are a bright spectacle at night quite extraordinary.
Our apartment is very comfortable (50m2) on the 22nd floor:
- a stay,
- a fitted kitchen
- a room with 1 bed (140cm)
- a bathroom wc
- laundry - washing machines and dry linen (1st floor of the building)
The rooms overlook a balcony of 12m2 where you can have meals.
We had the pleasure to exchange with some families (Italy, Spain, Netherlands, England, Ireland, Switzerland, Austria, Sweden, Germany) who were very happy with their stay with us.
Our apartment in Paris is always free during the French school holidays indicated below and especially during the 2 summer months (July and August).
Our apartment is sunny, quiet and not overlooked (on the 22nd floor).
We climb some steps in a bathrobe from our apartment to access the pool of the building (on the 23rd floor)
Everything is organic: food like household products ...

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
Our building is located near the district La Butte aux Cailles, a village in Paris like Montmartre but unknown to tourists. There are many cafes, restaurants, small squares with trees ...
- 3 stations not far: Montparnasse, Lyon and Austerlitz.
- 3 metro stations: Tolbiac, Place d'Italie or Olympiades.
- bus: n ° 27, 47, 67 and the cross 513 Bièvre-Montsouris, superb routes in Paris that will take you to the most beautiful museums and gardens.
We also like to go to Saint Germain des Prés on foot (3km).
For those who eat organic like us, there are the shops:
- "Naturenville" (vegetables and fruits),
- "Bio C'Bon" (grocery store, vegetables & fruits) in front of our residence
- "Biocoop" 180, rue de Tolbiac
For the non-organic, on the ground floor of our building an important store "Monoprix" where you will find food including prepared dishes but also newspapers ... And finally, place d'Italie, for those who love shopping, "Italy 2" is a "mall", a shopping mall where you can find everything closer to home.
