Description of the home we are offering for exchange
ONLY NON SIMULTANEOUS EXHANGE POSSIBLE FOR SUMMER 2024: From June 16th to July7th
130m2 house with 3x6m swimming pool and 1500m2 garden. The house is located in a quiet small village in the"Drôme provençale" area nearby numerous French character villages such as Grignan, Dieulefit, La Laupie, Le Poet-Laval, Sauzet (20min drive maximum). Montélimar the nearest city is 20 minutes drive. The closest village with all the commodities is only 3 min away by car. It is the ideal location for day trip to Avignon, Le Pont du Gard, Les Gorges de l'Ardèche with La Grotte Chauvet, Le Vercors, the Mediteranean sea, Lyon, etc...
Our house is located between Lyon (LYS) airport and Marseille (MRS) airport, both around 1h30 drive. Montélimar has a train station but Valence is about 1h drive and it has a TGV train station from which you could easily get to Paris in about 2h30 min.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
Our neighbourhood is very friendly and quiet. A playground is 1km by foot from the house and easy to go with the children to play. At 3 min drive or by riding (30min) you get to a village called La Bégude-de-Mazenc where there is a very nice garden for children to play and picnic area. In this village you may find all that you need: doctors, supermarket, chemistry, etc...
From the house you may go for several walks around the hills and discover a very nice view. Numerous ruins of Medieval castles are to be visited around as well as many character villages among "les plus beaux villages de France".
We are closed by the Mediterranean sea and the first French Alps (closest spots about 1h30 drive). We are at the begining of the Provence region so depending the time you come you may envoy the beautiful scenery with lavenders, olive tree, vineyards.
Our region is well known for cycling (connection with La Via Rhona).
