We are a happy, yet busy family :-) We have three big kids who are very responsible and used to take their part of the daily chores. Then we happy to new small ones age 3 and 1. They are lovely, well behaving, but off cause take their fair share of attention and care. Our oldest son who is 16 is playing piano, our daughter at 14 plays the guitar and the middle daugther at 12 loves to sing. So at rare moments the harmony is perfect. My wife is a teacher and I am pastor and journalist. The journalist part is most for fun to keep a large horizon.

After entering the house you find yourself in the large living room. To your left is the large cozy couch in a nordic designed arrangement and a fireplace. To your right is the dinner table and the open kitchen area.
As you walk down the hallway you pass by two bathrooms and five rooms. The masterbedroom iis at the end of the hallway. It also serves as a small living room for the adults with lounge chairs. A relaxed atmosphere is brought about through a delicate use of danish design items.
In the basement you find a cozy"hang out" room with computer and apple tv.
In the garden there is a covered patio, and from here you can look to the playhouse and the large and safe trampolin.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
Skovlunde was a small village dating back to 1249 b.c. Since the train came to the village in 1949 the village have grown into a suburb for Copenhagen, but without loosing its special flavour. Still today when you walk through the old part of Skovlunde, you see houses that tell the story of when this place was a tiny village.
Two large parks give the whole area a touch of nature which is consistent with its name. Skovlunde means "a gathering of trees".
In one of the parks, "Skovlunde naturpark" you can go hiking and find the "Harrestrup Stream". Close to the stream you find a shelter, a nature playground and possibility to light a fire. (Firewood is provided). A golf course is found nearby.
Skovlunde is a friendly and peacful place to live. Here you have both Copenhagen close by, but also nature and the necessary shops for buying food and other neccessities. And with the train or with bikes, you have access to the wide Copenhagen area within minuts.

Skovlunde is a suburb to Copenhagen, but from here you can reach everything in minuts through trains or busses. Or just borrow our bikes and try the bike highway. You can be at the beach on Amagerstrand in 30 minuts, or visit the little Mermaid close to Østerport. Here you also find the national gallery with its unique collections. In 25 minuts you can be at Rosenborg Castle and feel history become alive as you visit the royal chambers. The list goes on, whether you are interested in nordic food restaurants, danish design, cozy and relaxed cafees or trendy Ørestad.
Don't miss the unique amusement park right in Cph downtown, Tivoli. You kids will love it. Or what about visiting "Round Tower" or discover Cph, by boat, sailing in all the small canals going through the city? As you out there, buy you lunch at "Papirøen" which has become famous for its "indoor - outdoor food market".
People who has been to Copenhagen, loves it. It has so much atmosphere, and yet is so easily accessible.
