Our family is a big family with 2 adults and 4 kids at the age between 7 to 12 years old - two girls and two boys. The youngest ones are twins. Arne works as an electrician and Charlotte as a social worker in a family department and is studying to be a psychotherapist besides work. We live in a lovely neighbourhood where the kids play with all the other kids on the street. We have a busy every day life and therefore love to travel abroad in holydays as far as our budget allows.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
Our neighbourhood is quiet and close to nature though within the city-border, as it is an original village that the city of Aalborg has grown into. The last couple of years it has become very attractive as the university is on one side of the village and a new super-hospital being built at the other side. The is a little park and a pond in the midst of the village and an old midieval church. Our kids go to school in the nearby village where there are some nice hills and forest which is very popular for mountainbikers and trail-runners. We have some great neighbours where we always kan borrow an egg or whatever we have forgotten to buy for cooking. We help each other when needed and look after each others pets etc. when out of town.
We have a public swimming bath about one kilometer away. The center of the city is within 7 km. reach where you find all the stores and dining places you need.
