We are a family of 3 from Austria. I have two grown up children, my son Tobias (born 1989) lives in Vienna like me, and my daughter Lisa (born 1992) lives in Berlin. We all love to travel, and often our holidays are our family reunions.
We have a vacation home in Croatia, which we are offering as our exchange home, which is why we are very flexible with non-synchronized exchange periods.
Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.

Near the beach and easy access to the boat to Split and to other beaches. The old town itself is charming and filled with stories. Many day trips are possible from this lovely location including Dubrovnik ( a long day though). Carol was great to deal with over all arrangements. This is a special property and we would highly recommend an exchange here.

Carola's local contacts greeted us on arrival, which is a good thing because the ancient cobblestoned streets form a labyrinth. The home is creatively and expertly renovated and was such a delight in every way. We loved the rooftop deck for evening drinks or a meal watching the sunset. The home has all of the conveniences that you could possibly want without sacrificing any of the inherent charms of this gorgeous, ancient home. We never ran out of things to do with many great walks to nearby towns or beaches or our favourite, a daily visit to "the best ice cream shop in Croatia" right around the corner.

Description of the home we are offering for exchange
Our Vacation home is a little town house in the old town of Trogir with four floors and a rooftop terrace (around 100 m2 in total). It has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and in addition to the groundfloor kitchen, it also has a small outdoor kitchen on the rooftop terrace.
There is no more time available in 2019 - we are sorry.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
It's a very touristic area with a lot of people in summer, nice restaurants and entertainment. In the off-season it is very calm and nice, but still well populated by locals, with schools and regular stores in the historic old town. There are beaches nearby (some in walking distance, some reachable by car or public boat).

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
Trogir in itself is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a great place to visit.
Split, the second biggest city of croatia, is about half an hour away by car (one hour with the ferry) and offers – besides being lovely in itself – countless possibilities for bigger trips to beautiful croatian islands like Vis, Korcula and Hvar, but also many mainland attractions.

Cafés & bars
Special places to shop

Our home exchange - here are our Preferences and House Rules
Being careful especially with our "summer-kitchen", and generally leaving the house the way you found it (final cleaning by cleaning lady possible)
