Our Home For Exchange

Description of the home we are offering for exchange

Luxury fully updated 2 bedroom/2 bath condo located on the top (4th) floor of the Aspens on Blackcomb, widely considered the best ski-in and out complex within Whistler. Large deck with views up both mountains as well as overlooking the pool and 3 hot tubs. This is our rental condo (we live in North Vancouver) so we have some flexibility with non-simultaneous exchanges. We take great pride in our condo and have set it up with high end hotel bedding/mattresses as well as upgrading the entire condo over the last 2 years. We have a King bed in the master (with ensuite bathroom), 2 x XL twin beds that can be made up as a King in the guest room, 1 x deluxe queen sofa bed in the living area. Some of our amenities are a 50” LCD HD TV in living area, 42" TV master bdrm, very kid-friendly (pack'n'play, 2 step stools, booster seat, plastic cups/plates/bowls), free wireless internet, gas fireplace, Weber BBQ, private balcony with patio furniture, complimentary ski valet service and ski shop within the Aspens, summer bike valet, secured pay parking available, year round outdoor heated pool and 3 outdoor hot tubs, can ski directly from courtyard to Blackcomb base (or not in ski season a 2 min walk to the Blackcomb base/Upper Village and a 10 min walk to the main Village year round), and our complimentary personal concierge service to help plan your vacation. We regret that we are usually fully booked from mid-December to end of March and most likely will not be able to offer any exchanges during the peak winter months (mid-Dec to March) but always good to check with us just in case we have a gap week!

We also have our primary residence in North Vancouver that could be part of the exchange. It is a lovely 2500 sq feet newer home with 4 bedrooms upstairs (master w/ Queen bed and ensuite bathroom, guest room with Queen bed and ensuite bathroom, our daughter's room with a double/single bunk bed, and our son's room with a single bed )and 3 bathrooms plus a half bath on the main floor. It is 2 blocks away from a main transit route that leads down to the ocean and Sea Bus ferries that run to downtown Vancouver. By car we are 5-15minutes to all the best hiking, mountain biking and tourist attractions on the North Shore (Capilano Suspension Bridge, Lynn Valley Suspension Bridge, Grouse Mountain and the 2 other local mountains Cypress and Seymour, etc) and we are approximately 15-20 minutes to downtown Vancouver. We just have less flexibility with our house for exchanges times due to our work schedules and the kids' schooling but usually we have availability to exchange during April, mid-summer and potentially September/October. Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area

Our condo is located in the Aspens on Blackcomb, one of the best ski-in and out locations within Whistler combined with the best amenities - a large outdoor year round heated pool, 3 hot tubs, ski and bike valet service and rental shop in the lobby, and exercise room. It is within easy and quick walking distances to the Upper Village (base of Blackcomb, 2 min) and main Village (10 min) but there is also a free shuttle bus that stops right near the Aspens driveway so you don't have to have a car. There are 3 world class golf courses within Whistler as well as many lakes and endless biking and hiking trails to explore right outside our door. As much as we love being ski-in and out we also love that the condo is close to the Village but far enough away to be more peaceful and quieter at night!

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home

From the condo it is 2 minute walk down to the base of Blackcomb Mountain and the Upper Village where there are restaurants, pubs and shops and then another 5-7 min walk along the walking path to Whistler Village. We will be happy to share all of our local knowledge for the best places to eat, drink, shop, etc with you!

We hope and expect that guests would treat our condo like their own home. We can only accept 6 guests maximum. Absolutely no smoking is allowed in the condo or on the deck. And I'm sorry but we aren't allowed any pets.
