Description of the home we are offering for exchange
We're experienced home exchangers open to all offers. The Home Link culture is based on mutual respect and trust. Our 12 (2 not w/ Homelink) exchanges have resulted in new friendships not only with our home exchangers but with their neighbours. We have welcomed numerous people into our home for meals and visits when simultaneous exchanges are not possible without any expectations of reciprocity. Travel to Canada is economical as one Euro buys 2 Canadian dollars and gasoline is inexpensive at about 55 Euro cents for one litre.
"Victoria rates among the best cities in the world in Conde Naste Traveller's 2013 Readers Choice Awards...in the top 25 cities worldwide, Victoria, the capital of the province of British Columbia, came in No.17....Other results saw Victoria rank No 3 in the top 5 cities in Canada."
Our town home is in a park-like setting in a quiet area on hiking & bike trails in Victoria. It is common to see deer browsing gardens in our area.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
Broadmead where we live, is in Greater Victoria. Our upscale neighbourhood is in a rain forest with cedar trees surrounded by nature. There are many kilometres of bicycle and hiking trails virtually outside our door. This area is zoned for single famiy homes and town home complexs. There are several shopping plazas within easy biking, diving or walking distances great for destinations for coffee, restaurants and groceries.

Our home exchange - here are our Preferences and House Rules
We keep a clean and tidy home and expect that our exchangers will respect this and leave our home in as good a condition as they found it. As we only have one bedroom our home is suitable for a single or couple and ask people to please not smoke in our home and car nor bring pets or children.
