Our Home For Exchange

We are interested in all offers!
Our home was built in 1908 and is in a unique heritage neighbourhood, known as Queen's Park. We are a 5 minute walk from public transportation that will take you to downtown Vancouver and the city beaches and mountains within 30 minutes. We are a 25 minute drive from the Ferry terminal; the ferry ride to Vancouver Island takes 1.5 hours and travels through the incredibly scenic Gulf Islands. We are a 40 minute drive from the international border into Washington State (the closest large American city is Seattle - about 2.5 hours by car.) We are located 100 metres from a lovely park complete with old growth trees, a petting zoo and water spray park for children (open May - September). We answer all enquiries.

New Westminster is a small city of about 70,000 people. You will find all the basic amenities within walking distance - parks, grocery stores, pharmacies, banks, and restaurants. There is a local deli a 2 minute walk from the house, and a grocery store is a ten minute walk. We have a cat that require low-level care (daily feeding). Our dog will stay elsewhere during your stay. The garden is low-maintenance and in the summer, there are many perennial flowers in bloom. Feel free to pick them and bring them inside!
