Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area

We are located in a very walkable, family friendly neighbourhood called 'The Beach'. It is a twenty minute walk to the shores and swimming beaches of Lake Ontario. There are lots of local shops and restaurants within walking distance. Buses and streetcars are steps away from building; subway a short bus ride away or 25 minute walk. The neighbourhood has parks and public pools within walking distance. You can bike along the streets or on bike paths that follow the waterfront.
The bigger city of Toronto has many attractions that are easily reached by local transit. Day trips can be made by car or buses to Niagara Falls, Stratford, Niagara on the Lake and many other small unique towns. Montreal and Ottawa are only a 5 hour drive/train trip away.
