Our Home For Exchange
Description of the home we are offering for exchange
Our home is a 3 level, 1700 sq ft row townhome in beautiful North Vancouver. It is set in a private complex.
It has 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms & a powder room.
The basement level houses my son’s bedroom that has a loft bed with a pull out single bed chair. The rec room has a sofa bed that sleeps 2 with a TV which includes HBO, Netflix, Apple TV.
Wifi/Optik TV with PVR.
The main floor has the foyer, kitchen dining room, living room with gas fireplace. The back door leads out to a porch & patio with a covered propane BBQ, dining area & lounge area with propane fire pit. It is fully fenced in.
On the 3rd floor is the main bedroom with a queen size bed, bathroom & balcony.

-10 mins from downtown Vancouver
-close to sky hills (at the base of Grouse Mountain)
-5 minutes to Ambleside Beach/dog park/hiking trails
-5 mins to Park Royal Mall
-very walkable, easy transit

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
From our house, you can walk to shops and restaurants as well as to lovely hiking
trails. I walk my dog off leash in a little greenway 2 mins from my home.
It is also minutes from Grouse Mountain or Capilano Canyon and local beaches.
The area has many bike trails which can be flat, rolling or for mountain biking.
We are near the Lion’s Gate bridge; 10 minutes from downtown Vancouver via car or bus.
It’s also a 5 min. drive to the waterfront/harbour where you can take the “Seabus” across to downtown Vancouver in 13 mins.
We are close to the Trans Canada Highway which gives you access to Whistler (1.5 hour drive) and the ferries to Vancouver Island (15 mins drive to the ferry terminal).
The US border is 1 hour south.

Vancouver is surrounded by mountains and ocean and has a moderate climate offering a great place for many outdoor activities- walking,cycling, hiking, golfing, skiing.
Beautiful parks, nature trails, 3 local ski hills for winter skiing- downhill and cross-country, and great hiking in summer. Our home is at the base of Grouse Mountain.
Whistler ski resort is only a 1:45 hr. drive. Explore beautiful Vancouver Island, a 2 hour ferry ride away.
Ferry terminal is 15 mins by car.

Having respect for our neighbours & furnishings/belongings is key.
Happy to continue using your housekeeper every other week as you would mine and would love to have your dog but sorry no cats. Our dog Lenny will travel with us.
