Walk down the street for a dip in the pool, a game of billiards in the clubhouse or go for an evening walk through the pretty neighbourhood, perhaps sitting a spell to enjoy the waterways or chat with a neighbour.

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
The beautiful, sunny Okanagan Valley features 120 wineries where you can savour wine tastings and gourmet meals on patios overlooking spectacular views. Enjoy the mountains above Lake Okanagan on the world famous Kettle Valley Railway hiking and biking trail and the new Rail Trail along three lakes. Drive through breathtaking scenery along several sparkling lakes and miles of vineyards and orchards. Enjoy boating, the many water sports or just basking in the sun on the many lovely, sandy beaches. If you are a "foodie", there is an abundance of great restaurants on the lake or with fabulous vineyard and lake views that serve farm fresh produce and excellent award winning local wines. For skiers, there are two world class ski resorts, Big White and Silver Star within an hour's drive. Kelowna is also a centre for arts and culture. Attend musical concerts or plays at the wineries, enjoy music in the parks, musical theatre, or attend Art Walk, the largest art show in the British Columbia interior. Kelowna is proud of its Symphony Orchestra and Ballet Company. We also have a very popular, twice weekly farmers and crafters market only a bicycle ride away. There are lots of orchards where you can pick your own sun kissed cherries or juicy peaches etc., an experience you don't want to miss.
