Our home is part of an older three-story apartment complex. Our apartment is on the ground floor in the back of the house. Even though its 10 minutes from the Skytrain station (Holdon or Brentwood Town Centre) it was very quiet. It consists of a bedroom, living room connected to the kitchen, bathroom, hallway and small storage. We have one king size bed and sofa bed if need. There is fully equipped kitchen available, WiFi, vinyl record player and vinyl record collections but NO TV (using our laptop for everything we need).

The Brentwood shopping center (Amazing Brentwood) is 10 minutes walk from the house. Behind the shopping center there is Whole Foods Market, Safe on food, Browns Socialhouse, Cactus etc. 10min on the other site is our fall/winter appreciate entertainment REVS bowling alley with 48 lanes. From our house its 38min to the Main Street-Science World.

I personally like Commercial Dr and exploring the local restaurants, bars and mini breweries, the walk from Olympic Village (starting at Science word) with a visit to the Craft pub combined with a walk or bike ride around the water to Granville Island. More reference according to your requirements.
